i think he is trying to say that this picture is as a tempreture cam , coz of the specturum of colors due to ligh reflection on the surface of a moving water .

Great shot demonstrating the every principle of reducing resistance. Our novice breaststrokers tend to move legs and arms at the same time without realizing that it creates extraneous friction as more limbs stick out. This picture shows Eric endeavoring to hold the kick to the tail end of the pull, giving the arms the opportunity to pull a more aligned body and the legs a chance to create optimum propulsion since the arms are ready to shoot out, reaching for the most streamlined position possible. This is absolutely no camera trick of the sort suggested by Abbasi. Just a well-timed shutter speed or video frame and an excellent swimmer.

Definitely not a trick photo. Does anyone else see the cat's face looking at Eric...just like the cat looking at the goldfish in the fishbowl?

Now that you mention it, yes! And that's really cool!

Interesting comment Zing, very helpful. The first time I looked at this pic I thought the kick was delayed and therefore wrong. Unlike with freestyle and fly, I am not very good at breaststroke, maybe this will help me move forward better in the pool, thank you!

This is a huge skill in breaststroke, and one that shouldn't be overlooked. Eric does such a great job of delaying the recovery of the legs, I had to post this pic.
