If the video isn't playing... switch the resolution to 480p... that seems to be working better.

As I suppose you couldn't swim with any hand, and as your trajectory wasn't choppy, did you flutter kick with fins ?

Takes a lot of talent to keep that bubble on your finger. As I remember you always were good with games: hang your goggles on the flags, bubble rings on the bottom of the pool....

Actually Camy... you can swim with one arm and do this drill... you just can't film while you're doing it. That's a totally new challenge. I was flutter kicking with fins while I filmed this one. And yes oldmarlin (KS), I have always enjoyed games. Keeps this sport interesting huh? :)

Odd enough, in this lies an very useful information on what bubbles around the arm mean when pulling as well as what it means when they shed off from your arms/hands!

Great close up video too!

This is actually how I tell where the propulsive parts of my arm pulls are. Generally I try to keep the bubbles on my arms/hands from shedding off until the end of the pull. If they shed halfway through or at any point in the middle then I know that I am not applying sufficient power to create propulsion at that point. Check out underwater footage of any great swimmer and pay attention to when their "vorticies" (bubbles visually) shed!
