My first impression is weird... The head position doesn't fit with the shoulder position. Are they 2 swimmers? He's a contortionist ! |

Just one swimmer. |

Is it catchup? focusing on high elbows, rotation and stroke length? |

Idk, the head looks a little too deep to me. |

I love how relaxed her arm and hand are on the recovery, but everything is still under control. Looks beautiful to me. |

Relaxed arm recovery...as in Tucker's DVD. |

Head positioning looks alright, as does recovery position. It looks like the recovery might be coming in sidearm, though, which isn't necessarily a bad thing for speed. It's just not my thing, as it is rough on the shoulders. I do tend to think that looking a little more downward might be advantageous, but even Phelps has his head tipped upward a bit underwater, so I can't fault that. One thing that does bug me, though, is that the body looks like it drops quite a bit after the shoulders. The spine looks a little zig-zaggy with the head a bit up, the shoulders on point, and the lower torso seeming to drop quite a bit. It'd be lovely to see the rest of that form, but I'd guess that the legs aren't kicking their fair share. |
