I'm looking forward to Garrett Weber-Gale beating Eamon Sullivan, and Jason Lezak beating Alain Bernard.

I would like to see a great swimming performance by Libby Lenton-Trickett...and looking forward to see her as the best swimming female for 2008...she really deserves it.

I am looking forward to watching Michael Phelps and Ryan Locthe in the 200 IM and Dara Torres and Natalie Coughlin in the 100 free.

Responded Jul 08, 2008 04:20PM

Oh... bad news... Dara pulled out of the 100 free. She's going to focus on the 50 and the relays.

Brendan Hanson's race in the 100 breast. Or. . . the men's 4 x 100 relay. Or. .. Phelps v. Locke in the 400 IM Its going to be a great meet.

Margaret Holzer (sp) vs Kristy Coventry in the 200 back. I think that Coventry will take her, but should still be a good race.

Katie Hoff vs Stephanie Rice in both IMs. I give edge to Hoff on both events.

Sorry to say but in my mind Sullivan and Bernard are virtual LOCKS for Gold and Silver. Hansen vs. Kitajima is my pick, by far.

The womens 100 breast should be interesting, but I am really looking forward to seeing Heather Brand in the fly. I don't expect her to win, but I would like to see her make finals.

Phelps Lochte in both IM's, Hansen Kitajima in the 100 breast, and the biggest thing-mens 400 free relay. Go USA!

Responded Jul 14, 2008 04:26AM

I can't wait for the IM's with Lochte and Phelps. It took world records to win in the trials and it will take another record to win the gold! Watch out Phelps here comes Ryan!
