Here's just a preview (with a free trailer), of what you'll find in this 65-minute DVD:

In GO SWIM ALL STROKES, Olympic Gold Medalist Kaitlin Sandeno and Olympic Silver Medalist Erik Vendt share their key focus points for developing perfect technique in all four strokes. Their focus points work for every level of swimmer -- novice to elite -- and you don't have to learn drills or change your normal workout routine in order to incorporate them into your stroke. You can start to apply them immediately, the next time you go to the pool. The extraordinary swimming footage of Kaitlin and Erik, combined with clear explanations of what they do and how they do it, will help take your swimming to the next level.

* Discover Kaitlin and Erik's key focus points for Fly, Back, Breast, and Free.
* Learn WHY each point is important, and HOW it will help you go faster.
* Each focus point is illustrated from multiple angles -- side, head-on, below, and rear -- and from above and below the surface.
* More than 20 minutes of slow-motion and freeze-frame footage allows you to zoom in on key moves and really SEE how to do them.
* Use Kaitlin and Erik's favorite drills to practice each key element... or just GO SWIM!
* Bonus section covers starts, as well as turns for all 4 strokes plus IM transition turns, with above-water, underwater, and slow-motion footage.

KAITLIN SANDENO is an Olympic Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalist, as well as the American Record Holder in the 400 IM (SCM and LCM). She anchored the 800 Freestyle Relay in Athens to win gold and set a new world record. ERIK VENDT is the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist in the 400 IM and holder of the 2nd fastest 400 IM of all time. He was the first American to break 15 minutes for 1500 LCM Freestyle and holds the American Record in the 1500 SCM Freestyle.

GO SWIM ALL STROKES was written, filmed, and produced by the team of GLENN MILLS, a member of the 1980 Olympic Swim Team, and BARBARA HUMMEL, veteran of two Olympic Trials and currently a coach and World Top-Ten Masters swimmer.

I wish you would stop making so many blasted DVD's. I hope you are getting really rich off them, because it seems like I just keep putting them on my charge. <BG>

Actually I only own 5 of them but it looks like it will soon be 6. Keep up the great work with them. Besides the wonderful swiming footage, it's nice to see some of the swimmers personality come out on your DVD's, not just a lot of technical how to's.

And finally another freestyle DVD, yippieh :). Can't wait to see in particular Kaitlin swimming after all the pictures and the "Relax"-article here on goswim.

I am in HongKong instead of US.How much is the mailing fee of this product and how long can I receive it after I ordered?

Responded Jul 13, 2005 07:40AM

The DVD's are sent global priority which costs $15 US dollars. The delivery time is around a week to Hong Kong.

I Received the order here in the UK on the 15th September 2005 - 3 days after ordering. This was an excellent turnaround for delivery - most efficient.
Secondly, the DVD plays fine here in the UK (Setup as Reion zero I believe) and as for the content, this is an excellent compilation of material, demonstrations, different angled camera shots and slo-mo's.
On a positive note, my Daughter (10yrs old) watched part the DVD on the day I received it and during training that night, I saw an immediate change in the way she tackled Backstroke (Improved body rotation)and Butterfly (Body position and better arm technique) - most impressive......

This DVD has a zen-like quality. It captures the two swimmers' artistry and athleticsm so beautifully. The photography, music and narration make this enjoyable to watch, aside from the instruction. The technical instruction is superb and will surely help any swimmer improve. Inspirational for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. I've watched it many times and never tire of it!

hi all - ok i just want to say i got this dvd the other day and i ve watched the main bits but not all of it

i would NOT say it is for complete total beginners e.g someone who cant swim

however - for someone like me xD ive never swam for a club and taught myself - and could swim to a good standard (ish) - this DVD is very good and i totally recommend getting it

if you can swim more than 8 lengths e.g. not a total beginner i recommend it

I learnt a lot of extra stuff in it - some of it i already knew, some of it i didnt - and the stuff i knew it told me how to do it (i just knew of it)

it has improved me and will still do

the only moans about i have are

- i wanted to know about head position and balance because that is what i struggle on (my legs sink) - however, i think by the way they tell you , it cures your balance a lot anyway

and hands - i always used to have my hands grabbed together then i realised ppl actually swim with their fingers apart - so for someone who doesnt knnow that, theyre gona be like i used to be an un aware of it - so maybe a little bit on that

and maybe some comments from erik and sandeno!!

but, pls dont let this deter you - it is a great dvd and will improve you - my moans are only little things!

edit -

ive now gone over the other stuff too - it has slow motion and all other help that i wanted like freestyle turns and e.g. from fly to back turn etc

it is a great dvd i highly recommend it

i was just a bit worried my previous post made it look worse than it is - well just to calrify - it really is 9 out of 10

oh one more thing

one thing that made me laugh in this video is that here you have..........two of the best swimmers......EVER in the world

and behind them, in other lanes, you see people that cant swim and are sinking! or moving at about 1 metre an hour lol -- it is quite funny when you see it and think about it

just wandering, not sur eif yo uknow the answer - but how come erik and sandeno, olympians! are in the same pool as complete beginners? would have been funny to try and race them!

This is the best swim video I've ever seen, and I've bought a lot of these. I didn't start swimming competitively until I was 28. Coming to the sport so late, it is hard to get adequate explanations for what needs to happen in each part of each stroke (my master's coach doesn't talk technique), and too many videos fail to provide the kind of photography and closeups and slow motion clips that I needed to really understand all the parts of each stroke.

I've spent countless hours watching Dave Marsh's Championship Swimming video, but it never slows down enough and his explanations are never quite sharp enough for me to understand exactly what I need to mimic in each part of every stroke. I'm not picking on Marsh as I actually like his videos. I'm just pointing out this out as an example of the frustrations I've had with other swim instruction videos.

This video is different b/c the photography is so detailed, the angles so varied and the slow motion so frequent (it actually has a separate slow motion section on the dvd) that I really get exactly what is happening in each part of the stroke for the first time. For instance, the video shows a head-on shot of freestyle at water level. I've never seen that angle before, and seeing how little the head moves, and how low it is kept in the water really made me understand proper head position for the first time.

When I keep the pictures I've seen in this video in my mind when I am swimming, I swim faster, with less effort expended. Sounds like BS, but I swear it's true.

I'm definitely going to purchase other videos.

We are using the DVD's for the Pope John High School swim team. We will use the slo mo section for repeated viewings of Kaitlin and Erik to help our swimmers visualize the correct technique in all four strokes. In my opinion, the slo mo section is the
best I have ever seen in terms of quality and completeness (views from all angles, underwater and above water, in all four strokes), clarity and correctness of stroke technique. We are encouraging all our swimmers to have their own copy of the DVD.

The first DVD I got was unreadable because it had a production error. I called and I quickly received a replacement. Thanks for the excellent customer service!
I am fair to good swimmer and I am always seeking to improve my technique. This DVD was EXCELLENT in its descriptions of the main technical points for each of the individual strokes. I appreciated the laminated card listing these points and I take it to the pool as a "cheat sheet".
