I did some 15m underwater dolphin kicks with this picture in my mind, and the conclusion which I got is that is better to lock your hip-torso joints during the final phase of the downbeat. I felt in that way that force was transmitted to the whole body and not dissipated in the legs (also I felt abs working hard). Then, I’d say that the meaning of this picture could be “how to connect your legs to the rest of the body”. Please, Glenn, anybody, correct me if I wrong.

(Sorry for my English)

I prepared this POTW from a clip of video I was working on for the next DVD. If you post a good comment, I'll send you the link to the video clip. Bribery? Sure. JZ already got the link.

mmmm... It could be a good idea to show in the main page, next to the article titles something like "Last comment posted on", or "Number of comments".

Though severely challenged by the fly stroke, I'll give this one a shot. It looks to me that Eric is doing a drill, pressing the chest in and releasing the hips which sets him up for a powerful kick out. I'm really guessing here... Help!

Shows the importance of getting a smaller angle on the second kick when you swim fly
